ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Alaska has received $6.7 million from the Minerals Management Service as its share of mineral revenues collected on federal lands in 2001.
The money represents Alaska's share of bonuses, rents and royalties. More than $180,000 came from offshore tracts.
More than $1 billion in mining rents and royalties was distributed to 33 states last year.
