Nancy Anderson and Audrey Russell walk Tuesday afternoon past seven roses tied to the Challenger Learning Center of Alaska's flagpole in honor of the seven astronauts who perished in last weekend's Columbia disaster. The Kenai facility is one of 43 Challenger Centers built following the 1986 shuttle disaster that also killed seven. It's mission is to inspire students to study science, math and technology.
