In answer to Letters to the Editor: "Road status questioned," printed Jan. 31, I don't see how Mr. Paul E. Turner, Ph. D., can put any question on to the people who are responsible for plowing the roads in the winter.
When it snows, it snows everywhere so that there are some roads that do not get immediate attention. I think he is "way off the mark" and should be questioning the people who are driving on the roads.
This is Alaska and caution while driving in the snow is a given. So please don't try to blame the people that are trying to help, Mr. Turner.
And if the snow on the roads bothers you too much, maybe you should consider moving south.
