JUNEAU (AP) -- Officials of Juneau's Eaglecrest Ski Area are trying to decide what to do for season pass holders who have not been able to ski much this season.
The season, for the most part, has been a flop due to lack of snow.
The city-owned ski area opened on a limited basis for six days during students' Christmas break. One lift operated last weekend. Continued operation of the lift will depend on weather, said business manager Gary Mendivil.
Mendivil said discussions between staff members and the area's board of directors so far has focused on credits rather than refunds. No option, however, is off the table, he said.
Mendivil said the response will depend on when the ski area finally opens.
