Mushroomers to meet

In spite of all appearances, mushroom season is not too far away. South Central Alaska Mycological Society, formerly the Kenai Peninsula Mycological Society, will be discussing and learning to identify the many different boletes out there. The public is encouraged to come learn about identifying wild mushrooms so they can learn which ones are safe to eat as well as which ones to avoid.

The group will meet Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m in room 157 at the Kenai Peninsula College to brush up on Boletes.
