KAEYC meeting today
The Kenai Association for the Education of Young Children will meet at 7 p.m. today at Kenai Peninsula College in the Learning Center. Nancy Schrag will demonstrate how to make developmentally appropriate toys from recycled materials. UAF extension to hold workshop
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service will conduct a workshop on animal reproduction from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture building on Kalifornsky Beach Road. Milan Shipka, a livestock specialist, will discuss animal reproduction, complications of importation, flying and barging of animals. For more information, call 262-5824.
Childbirth classes offered
Central Peninsula General Hospital will offer prepared childbirth classes from Feb. 18 through March 24. Classes will cover issues from pregnancy through infant care. Cost is $75 and includes books. For more information or to register, call 714-4775.
