Bake sale fund-raiser set

Frontier Community Services Infant Learning Program will hold a bake sale fund-raiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Safeway in Soldotna. Proceeds will benefit parent scholarships. For more information, call Renie at 262-3144, ext. 227.

Genealogical society to meet

Totem Tracers Genealogical Society will present a class on using at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Kenai Community Library. For more information, call 283-4481.

Community dance planned

The Kenai River Folk Dancers will host a smoke- and alcohol-free community contra dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Feb. 19 at Kalifornsky Beach Elementary School. Live music will be provided by the Contra BanD. The easiest dances start at 7 p.m. Participants should bring clean, nonmarking shoes and potluck snacks to share. Partners are not required. Admission is $5. Children under 16 can get in free if accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 260-4171.

Dinner, dance fund-raiser set

The Nikiski Senior Citizens Center will host a prime rib dinner and dance fund-raiser at 6 p.m. Feb. 19 at the center. The cost is $15 each. Only 66 tickets are available. For more information, call 776-7654.

RCAC to meet
