The Scholastic Book Fair has been postponed until further notice.
The annual Teddy Bear Parade will be at 11 a.m. Monday. Students may bring a stuffed animal for the parade through the school. Kindergartners celebrated the 100th day of school Friday. Miss. Fischer's class read about and listened to groundhogs on the Internet on Groundhog Day. Students created shadows of their own.
Ms. Ralston's first-graders have been working on sentence structure and sequencing in language. In math, the students are learning about odd and even numbers, telling time, adding and subtrcting, counting coins, skip counting by twos and threes to 100 and other activities. For Groundhog Day the students used the Internet to explore and learn about the history of the groundhog. They also watched video clips, viewed pictures and sounds of the groundhog.
The students did different activities with 100 things.
In science, the students learned about why and how the moon they see changes shape.
