Regarding Sunday's editorial, "Have a Thought ...", I commend the Clarion for providing its on-line discussion forum. Much information is provided by people "behind the scenes." Key issues get a fair and impartial hearing. But as pointed out in the editorial, users become abusers when they begin to attack the messenger. Ad hominem attacks are never welcome and are frequently used when a person can no longer engage in meaningful "on-point" discussion and/or debate. Those who just want to antagonize others, adding nothing to the discussion but jabs, are unwelcome.
Thank you for your action. Most assuredly, it is not censorship, but rather an attempt by the moderator to bring civility to what might otherwise become a verbal food fight.
