Report cards were mailed last week. If you did not receive your student's report card, contact the front office.

Parent-teacher conferences are from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, from 8 a.m. to noon Friday and from noon to 3 p.m. Monday.

Alaska Benchmark tests for eighth-grade students and Terra Nova tests for seventh-grade students will be given Tuesday through Feb. 19. Parents are encouraged make sure their children get to school on time each of these days, get lots of sleep and eat a good breakfast.

The PTSA will meet at 5 p.m. Feb. 19. The video, "Developing Healthy Self Esteem," by H. Stephen Glen will be made available for viewing at 5:30 p.m. following the meeting.

Applications for the Showin' Off the Kids lip sync and choreography contest, to be held March 13, are available at the office. Students need to return the completed application and a two-minute music tape to the Soldotna Dairy Queen by Feb. 29. A full-costume rehearsal is scheduled for March 12 at Soldotna High School. After the Bell has space available. The program offers qualified tutors to assist students in understanding and completing homework. For more information or a registration form, call a school counselor.
