Valentine's theme planned

On Sunday, The Grace Lutheran Church will present two loved-themed specials in honor of Valentine's Day.

At 9:45 a.m. a study-discussion titled "How to Keep Your Marriage Like a Sweet Honeymoon" will be held, followed at 11 a.m. with a marriage enriching worship service titled "Deepen your Love for Marital Happiness."

Church changes meeting place

The Peninsula New Testament Church will meet at 9:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Sundays at the Kenai River Center on Funny River Road through March.

Couriers to sing at service

The New Life Assembly of God will host The Couriers, a singing group at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the church. A free offering will be received.

Matrix church to meet

This Matrix church will meet at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Peninsula Christian Center behind The Salvation Amy store in Soldotna.

MOMS to meet

Ministry of Mothers Sharing will hold its spring session from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays for the next eight-weeks at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Soldotna. It is open to all mothers. The cost is $30 and includes materials and the celebration dinner. Child care can be arranged.

Bible study group to meet

Addictions group to meet

Reformers Unanimous, a national Christ-centered addictions program is forming a chapter in Kenai. It will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. on Fridays at the Immanuel Baptist Church. Also being offered is "Kids RU" a children's program that teaches children of Reformers Unanimous participants how to avoid addictions.

Clothes 2 Go open

Clothes 2 Go is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays in the basement of the Nikiski Inlet Faith Church. Items are 25 cents and up.

Clothes Quarters in the back of the parking lot at 225 South Spruce Road at the Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Kenai will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Feb. 23 and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 5. For more information, call 283-4555.

Church production slated

Reality Outreach will be in Nikiski to put on the production "Heavens Gates Hells Flames." Performances will be March 20, 21 and 22.

Donations to support the production may be made to Lighthouse Community Church, Attn. Heavens Gates, P.O. Box 7496, Nikiski, AK 99635.
