Caregivers get support, too
The National Family Caregiver Support Program will hold the following meetings:
· Caregiver training on back and transfer safety from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Kenai Senior Citizen Center; and
· Caregiver peer support from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Soldotna Senior Citizens Center.

What’s in a name?
Gregory Weissenberg will speak about the history of Russian place names on the Kenai Peninsula at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Kenai River Center on Funny River Road, as part of the Winter Speaker Series. Work in progress
The new Workforce Development Center behind and across the street from Kenai Central High School, will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday with a tour, demonstrations and barbecue. For a schedule of open house events and more information, call 283-3230.
Moms to meet
The Moms Club, an international support group for at-home mothers, is starting a chapter in the Kenai area. The group will hold monthly meetings and activity groups. Call Becky for more information at 252-4992.
