Central Peninsula Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects involved in the theft of a mounted king salmon.

Kenai police are investigating the theft of the 4-foot, mounted, fiberglass fish from the Kenai Airport, where it had been on display until it was taken in the spring or summer of 2003.

Anyone with information about the felony crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 283-TIPS or toll-free at (800) 478-HALT. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information that leads to the arrest of felony suspects. Crime Stoppers does not use caller ID or recorded lines, and callers need not give their names.
