Anchorage resident Nadine Burch died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at her home of natural causes. She was 86.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 2301 Strawberry Road in An-chorage.
Mrs. Burch was born Jan. 6, 1918, in Spokane, Wash., and moved to Alaska in 1979. She lived in Kenai, Anchorage and Wasilla.
Her personal interests include sewing, painting and traveling extensively to the beautiful areas of Alaska. She actively participated in these right up to her death.
"She was deeply appreciated for her always cheerful disposition and is deeply missed by those in the congregation and her family," her family said. "She always stayed true to her religious beliefs."
Mrs. Burch was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burch.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Caren and Rex Bennett of Kenai and Pauline and Howard Pennington of Wasilla; daughter, Lirraine Burch of Oceanside, Calif.; grandson, Avery Pennington, his wife, Melinda, and their son, Tyler, of Soldotna; and granddaughter, Nicole Pennington of Kenai.
Arrangements were made by Kehl's Forest Lawn Mortuary.
