Cruise West cutbacks story correction

HAINES, Alaska (AP) -- The Associated Press erroneously reported on Feb. 12 that CruiseWest vacation cruise line closed its Anchorage reservation office and planned to lay off workers at its Seattle office. Two reservation workers in Anchorage were transferred in November to Seattle, but the Anchorage office remains open and staffed by seven other operations employees. The Seattle layoffs had already occurred in October and December.
