ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A light earthquake struck Southcentral Thursday morning and was felt in parts of Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula.
The Alaska Tsunami Warning Center in Palmer said the quake occurred at 8:09 a.m. and had a preliminary magnitude of 4.0. It was centered 40 miles south of Anchorage and was located six miles deep.
There were no reports of injuries or damage.
