ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A 51-year-old Anchorage city bus driver is facing charges that he sexually abused three young sisters who live in his trailer park.

Police arrested Michael C. Lee last week. He is being held in Cook Inlet Pre-Trial Facility on $50,000 bail. He is charged with sexually abusing the girls, ages 9, 10, and 11, in his trailer.

Prosecutors said they investigation began after Lee's wife called police on the morning of Feb. 2. She told an officer she came home the day before to find the 11-year-old girl naked in her bed.

Lee has worked for the Anchorage bus system for 23 years, said Bob Kniefel, Anchorage's public transportation director. He remains employed by the municipality, but Kniefel said officials will soon meet with the Teamsters union, which represents Lee, to discuss his status. He hasn't worked since being jailed Feb. 4.
