Student says thanks for 'School Bus to Space'

I would like to thank the Challenger Learning Center and Phillips Petroleum for putting on the "School Bus to Space" program for the sixth-graders at Kenai Middle School.

They taught us about living in space, robotics, light and energy, and rockets. They sponsored an activity night to let us try out some of the instruments they have at the center, and to launch the rockets we made in class.

I would also like to say a special thanks to Phillips for sponsoring the "School Bus to Space." They gave us lunch boxes and stickers. They also sent us a scientist to help teach us about pH levels and what water is good to drink.

The scientist taught us not only about water pH levels, but also about how they have to keep their pipes clean so there are no explosions at the plant. They also check the water to make sure they are not polluting the environment.
