The school congratulates Ryan Burow for a his trip to the state spelling bee competition. He made it to the final 35 students.

The fifth- through eighth-graders are beginning bowling in physical education. They are learning the four-step approach and how to perform the natural hook. They will learn the long-lost art of bowling scoring. In a few weeks they will take the knowledge to the alley.

In American history,students are wrapping up a chapter on the early explorers to America and the first colonies of Jamestown and Plymouth. In science, students are studying forces and motion.

The children are learning about the last days of Jesus in religion class. This week was the study of Palm Sunday.

Congratulations to the Grace Lutheran Boys and Girls Club third- and fourth-grade basketball team. They put together a season with growth and success and learned to play as a team.
