Soldotna resident Eve K. Williamson died Wednesday, February 13, 2002, at Heritage Place in Soldotna.
She was 82.
Funeral services will be held at Gunderson's Funeral Home in Madison, Wis. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Madison.
Mrs. Williamson was born April 21, 1919, in Viroqua, Wis. She grew up and received her education in Viroqua, graduating from high school in 1937. She then went to the University of Wisconsin, where she earned her degree in accounting.
On July 4, 1964, she moved to Fairbanks, where she worked for KIAK Radio, the city of Fairbanks, Fairbanks Automotive and Fairbanks Automotive TBA.
She retired in 1976.
Mrs. Williamson moved to Soldotna in 1995.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Fairbanks and the Sons of Norway. She was also active with the Fairbanks school board. She enjoyed sewing and spending money.
Her family said, "She was loved and will be missed by family and friends that meant so much to her, and we will remember our times together."
Mrs. Williamson is survived by her son, David Williamson of Soldotna; daughters and sons-in-law Jill and Bill Kopecky of Soldotna and Dede and Eric Hinton of Anchorage; grandchildren, Jamie and Josh Hinton of Anchorage, Barb Kopecky of Oregon and Paul Kopecky of Soldotna; and great-granddaughter Jillanna Kopecky of Oregon.
Memorial donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
