Champer and Missy are considered the guardians of Wilma and Bill Bartlett's family. The miniature Schnauzers enjoy being petted by the couple's granddaughters when they visit them in Nikiski. The pair also are the official greeters when someone comes to call.
Pet photos either can be color or black and white and should be no smaller than 3-by-5 inches. They may include people. Limit one photo per household. They can be dropped off at the Kenai or Soldotna offices or mailed to the Clarion at P.O. Box 3009, Kenai, 99611.A brief explanation of the photo, the pet's and owner's names, owner's address and phone number must be included. E-mailed photos will not be accepted.
