Giving From the Heart

These staff members of the Boys and Girls Club were recently recognized at a Board of Directors meeting after hearing of the generosity by this group of caring staff members. Toys R Us donated toys for a Christmas giveaway to the kids at the clubhouse. Seeing that not every child would receive a toy, these staff members, on their own, pooled together enough money to purchase additional toys so each child in the after school program would receive a toy. "This is just one example of how dedicated all the Clubhouse staff is to the kids that come here," said Tina Herford, Boys and Girls Club Executive Director.
