Blood drive scheduled today

The Frontier Community Services will hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at its office in the Red Diamond Center on Kalifornsky Beach Road. The Blood Bank of Alaska also will be open. For more information, call Amy Jackman at 260-5672.

SPCA to hold fund-raiser

The SPCA of the Kenai Peninsula will hold a spaghetti feed and auction fund-raiser from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Riverside House in Soldotna. The cost is $15 per person. Children age 6 and under will be admitted for free. For more information or to purchase a ticket, call 262-8550.

Soroptimists plan board meeting

Soroptimist International of the Twin Cities will hold its board meeting at 5:30 p.m. today at Central Peninsula General Hospital in the Iliamna room. 'Builders Jeopardy' presentation set

Master gardeners to discuss water gardens

Kearlee Ray Wright will be the featured presenter at the Central Peninsula Master Gardeners winter lecture at 7 p.m. today at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Building on Kalifornsky Beach Road. Kenai River advisory board meeting slated

The Kenai River Special Management Area Advisory board will meet at 7 p.m. today at the Kenai River Center on Funny River Road. Topics of discussion will include the Kenai River Sportfishing Association, Kenai River guide restrictions, Kenai River user fees and committee updates. The public is invited to attend.
