Senate bill just plain wrong

Posted: Tuesday, February 19, 2008

Do people know that our politicians are trying to sneak a bill through that would be another invasion of our privacy?

The bill is Senate Bill 196. This bill wants to set up a database of every Alaskan who takes any kind of drugs, included prescriptions.

I think it is a gross invasion of our privacy, and the medications we take should fall under doctor privilege information.

If law enforcement needs to know this information, they can get a warrant. The state does not need a database. It is just plain wrong.
