ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A 48-year-old Kotzebue man was charged Tuesday with felony possession of alcohol with intent to sell.
Alaska State Troopers said Michael McBride was arrested after they acted on an anonymous tip.
Troopers and a Kotzebue Police Department investigator were called to the Kotzebue airport where they found a box that was wet and smelled of alcohol.
Further investigation found a total of 122 bottles in the shipment with an estimated street value of $22,000.
McBride also was charged with shipping alcohol without proper labeling, said Trooper Jake Covey.
