Seward, Nome cagers split

The Seward and Nome girls as boys basketball teams split games Friday and Saturday in Nome.

In Friday’s girls game, the Seahawks notched a 36-28 victory with Rachel Crane leading the way with 10 points.

In Saturday’s girls game, Christina Blandford had 15 points to lead Nome to a 41-32 victory.

In Friday’s boys game, Seward notched a 60-58 victory behind 20 points from Coty Beck.

In Saturday’s boys game, Seward lost 69-63 despite 18 points from Caleb Adelman.
