Karl Joseph Johnson

Karl Joseph Johnson, 3-month-old son of Mark and Kathy Johnson of Nikiski, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, at home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Soldotna. A rosary will be recited at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Father Frank Reitter will officiate. Burial will follow the mass at Kenai City Cemetery.

Karl was born Nov. 15, 2002, in Soldotna and was a member of the church.

"Karl's calm personality brightened the life of everyone who knew him. His expressive face communicated more than words ever could. We feel honored to have been given this time with Karl," his family said.

He is survived by his parents; siblings, Natalie Tillotson and Wayne, Tempest, Edward, Robert, Annamarie and Joan Johnson; niece, Pauline Tillotson; grandparents, Ed and Nancy Amundsen and Pauline Johnson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel.
