Hospice appreciates help

Posted: Thursday, February 21, 2008

On behalf of the board of directors, staff and volunteers of Hospice of the Central Peninsula, we would like to take this time to express our heartfelt gratitude to ACS. We deeply appreciate the waiver granted to us for DSL Internet and phone service for the calendar year 2008. The support ACS has provided helps us grow our services and better serve our community.

All of our services are provided at no cost. We are grateful to our community for their support and giving. Hospice is moving forward and expanding our services. This is due to continued community involvement.

Hospice of the Central Peninsula has served dying persons, their families and bereaved individuals in the communities of the Kenai Peninsula since 1987. Hospice volunteers are required to complete a 20-hour training that is thorough in helping to effectively prepare them in hospice philosophy.

Thank you, ACS, for giving your heart to hospice.
