CHICAGO (AP) -- A version of ''The Protestant Hour'' radio program, now in its 57th year, is coming to television.
The Hallmark Channel plans to broadcast two pilot versions of the show at 10 a.m. EST on March 3 and March 24 as part of its ''America at Worship'' Sunday programming, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America announced.
The TV show will be called ''Day One'' and will air weekly starting this summer.
''The Protestant Hour'' is a cooperative effort of the Evangelical Lutherans, the Episcopal Media Center, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the United Methodist Church.
