Glenn and Patsy Clifford were surprised by those who thought their home was worthy of winning the 2004 Home Decoration Christmas project contest for Nikiski. They would like to thank Homer Electric Association for the third-place prize and those who voted for them.

Interviews for the new Nikiski Middle-Senior High School principal will take place Saturday at the school library with Donna Peterson speaking to the public at 8:45 a.m. and interviews following at 9 a.m.
The public is welcome to attend, observe and give written comments afterward.
On Sunday, and then every one thereafter, the Nikiski Senior Citizens Center will serve breakfast from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public is welcome. Proceeds raised go to the center.
Did you know the senior center received 271 volunteer hours for the month of January? Pretty impressive.
