Justice has been served in Salvation Army case

Posted: Monday, February 23, 2004

I would like to thank the jurors for the verdict involving the Trickels and The Salvation Army. I would like to thank attorneys Tom Owens and Nelson Page for their consistent pursuit for justice.

And I would like to especially thank the mother of the three girls and the four girls for hanging in there and testifying. Truly justice has been served and the girls have been validated.

This is a clear message to many that child sexual molestation will not be tolerated. Our children are our future; how much are we willing to invest in them?

Thank you again for making it possible for these girls to hold theirs heads up; know that justice has been served in Kenai.

With gratitude,

Sharon Culhane
