Mrs. George's class is connecting the social studies curriculum of the Kenai Peninsula and early homesteading with the "Little House" series. Students are reading "Little House in the Big Woods," by Laura Ingalls Wilder, and doing related projects such as a map study, making butter and sampling "cracklins."
