Love of Reading Month activities include Family Math and Science Night Thursday; the reading challenge continues and students should turn in their forms.

Student council is sponsoring a sports theme door decorating contest. Judging is March 4 and prizes will be awarded. March 4 also is Hawaiian Day. Students, staff and parents are invited to wear tropical theme clothing.

The school thanks Stephanie McDowell, Wade Nelson, Janelle Baalke, Amber Cruze and Amy Larson for their help with school pictures last week.

Jackson Larson was the Big G Box tops drawing winner last week.

The Empty Pop Cans won the boys' intramural trash ball championship. The Alley Cats won the girls' title.

The next Fun Fest is March 4.

All drivers should remember the speed limit through school lots is 5 mph. Students are allowed to exit vehicles onto the sidewalk in front of the building only. Unattended vehicles may not be left in front of the school.

The lost and found will be emptied Monday.

Shyanne Waters came closest to guessing the number of goldfish crackers in the library with her guess of 405. The actual number was 398.
