Caring adults help kids have fun, learn skill, experience teamwork

The Boys and Girls Club Third-Fourth Grade Basketball League, with 21 teams and more than 200 kids involved, just wrapped up yet another fun-filled, action-packed season.

The success of the program rests with the positive and caring individuals who took time out of their busy lives to give the kids the opportunity to experience the camaraderie of being on a team, the thrill in learning a new skill, the responsibility of teamwork.

Hats off to our awesome coaches: Judy Johnson, Bill Dunn, Joel Jackson, Nikki Jeffrey, Ronda Blough, Lori Wagoner, Jerry Peterson, Glenn Godfrey, Amy O'Dell, Joy Skjold, Dave Litchfield, Terri Carter, John Wensley, Kelly Reilly, Pam Moore, Lauri Lingafelt, Brad Carver, Dawn Davey, Diane Duncan, Teresa Saner, Jay Griffel, Peter Klauder, Molly Hull, Paul Ostrander, Philip France, Mike Tovoli, Dave Westerman, Sharon Dallmann, Mark Schams, John Coston, Krista Chadwick, Dennis Leckwee, Ted VanAntwerp and Doug Munn.

Thanks also to our team sponsors for their financial support: Enstar, Kenai Peninsula Orthopaedics and Les Bender. Their contributions help us continue to run a quality program.
