CPGH to hold board meeting

The board of directors for Central Peninsula General Hospital will meet at 4:30 p.m. today in the Borealis Room at the hospital. It is open to the public. For a copy of the agenda, visit www.cpgh.org.

ICAN to meet

The Alaska chapter of International Caesarean Awareness Network will meet at 6:30 p.m. today at Woman's Way Midwifery at 149 E. Corral St. in Soldotna. Its meetings are topic-based and educational with time for support and information sharing. KCHS after-prom meeting set

Kenai Central High School parents after-prom committee will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in the cafeteria. The topic will be the party. Interested juniors are encouraged to attend. For more information, call Kendra or Carrie Lee Steiner at 283-7799.

Senior Olympics planned

The second annual Senior Olympic Games will be held today, Friday and Saturday at a variety of locations in the Kenai and Soldotna area.

Events will include walk-a-thons, pool, bowling, bridge, dominoes, darts, basketball toss, Texas hold-em poker, cribbage, pinochle, shuffle board, tripoly and hula hoops. At the end of the competition a medal awards ceremony will be held. Other events to take place are a '50s theme no-host dinner at Ginger's with a '50s attire and dance contest.

RCAC to meet

The Cook Inlet Regional Citizens Advisory Council will meet at 9 a.m. Friday in the conference room in the Aquaculture Building. It is open to the public. For more information, an agenda or directions, call 283-7222 or (800) 652-7222.

Musical scheduled

The Kenai Performers will present the musical "Brigadoon" on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Renee C. Henderson Auditorium at Kenai Central High School. Evening shows will begin at 7, and the Sunday matinee is at 3 p.m.

The musical is about two New Yorkers who get lost in the Scottish Highlands.

Tickets are available at Charlotte's, Old Town Music, M and M Market, River City Books, The Music Box and Sweeney's Clothing Store. Concessions will be available to purchase during intermission.

Dance concert set

Nikiski High School will hold its annual dance concert at 7 p.m. March 4 and 5 at the Nikiski High School Auditorium and at 7 p.m. March 11 and 12 at the Renee C. Henderson Auditorium at Kenai Central High School. Tickets will be available at the door.
