Erma Lee 'Jackie' Folsom
Nikiski resident Erma Lee “Jackie” Folsom died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006, from cancer, surrounded by her family at her home. She was 67.
Private family services will be held.
Ms. Folsom was born Sept. 20, 1938, to Ervin Jackson and Billie Earnestine Lynn in Wright City, Okla.
She graduated in 1957 from Sweet Home High School in Sweet Home, Ore. She moved to Nikiski in 1991 to be closer to her family.
She enjoyed reading, fishing and gardening.
Ms. Folsom was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Pearl Gaskey; and grandfather, Lawrence Gaskey.
She is survived by her daughters, Lesa and her husband, Randy Jeffreys, and Danee and Jerry Moore, all of Nikiski, and Darla Williams of Dallas, Ore.; sons, Christopher and his wife, Sharon Cook, of Lebanon, Ore., and Joshua Cook of Nikiski; brothers, Jerry Lynn of St. Helens, Ore., Billie Lynn of Sweet Home and Gene Lynn of Dallas, Ore.; granddaughters, Andrea Jeffreys and her fiance, Ryan Miller, of Nikiski, Savannah Williams of Dallas, Ore., and Sarah Moore of Nikiski; grandsons, Billy Jack Jeffreys and his wife, Kelly, of Nikiski, Matthew Jeffreys and his fiancee, Lisa Fucci of Nikiski, Tyler, Trevor and Ethan Williams, all of Dallas, Ore., Sheridan Olson of Nikiski, Justin Pruitt of Nikiski and Jake Star, Dustin Meyers, Kegan Cook and Hunter Cook, all of Lebanon; and great-grandchildren, Matthew Caine Randall Jeffreys, Rhiley Channing Jeffreys, America Brooke Jeffreys and McKinlee Ann Jeffreys.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
