Deadline for dance classes today

The Boys and Girls Club in Kenai is taking registration for two music and movement classes, one ballet class and one jazz class. Classes will meet Saturdays beginning March 6. The cost is $50 per class, per participant, plus membership in the Boys and Girls Club. Scholarship applications are available upon request. Master gardening class planned

The University of Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service, Kenai Peninsula District, will hold a master gardening class today in the Kenai-Soldotna area. The class is for beginners and advanced gardeners to learn master gardening techniques. There is no fee. For more information, the location and time, call 262-5824.

KPC to hold blood drive

The Kenai Peninsula College will hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the college. For more information, call Amy Jackman at 260-5672.

WRCC board meeting scheduled in Kenai

The Women's Resource and Crisis Center will hold its monthly board meeting at 5:30 p.m. today at 325 S. Spruce St. in Kenai. The public is invited to attend. For more information, call 283-9479.

Harley owners group getting together

Harley Owners Group Chapter No. 8150 will meet at 7 p.m. today at Paradisos Restaurant in Kenai. All members are encouraged to attend. For more information, call Mike at 283-9401.

Cheer clinic slated

The Soldotna High School cheerleaders will hold a cheerleading clinic from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the school. Children ages 4 years through sixth grade are eligible to attend. Cost is $25 per child and includes a T-shirt, cheerleading handbook, snack and certificate.

Taco fund-raiser planned

The Nikiski Freestyle Wrestlers will hold an all-you-can-eat taco fund-raiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Kenai Elks Lodge. The cost is $5 per person. The evening's activities will include auction items, dessert, prize balloons and raffle tickets. All proceeds will go to the wrestling club. Preschool to hold fund-raiser

The Soldotna Cooperative Preschool will hold a spaghetti feed fund-raiser from 4 to 7 p.m. April 17 at the Christ Lutheran Church on the corner of Kenai Spur Highway and Soldotna Avenue.

Tickets will be available at the door for $5 per person or $15 for a family of four. Door prizes will be given. For more information, call 262-9149.
