Jump Rope for the Heart will be held today and Friday in the gym. Mr. Chase needs to have all money and pledge sheets to him by Friday.

On Friday night, Mr. Seims' class will have a sleepover at the school to celebrate filling its Stop and Think poster with stickers. The class earned stickers by doing something special or helping a fellow student who needed a hand without being asked. Teachers reward their class each time they fill a poster.

Classes have been working hard to prepare for forensics. In the next two weeks, classroom competitions will be held and winners will move on to the districtwide forensic competition March 13.

Ms. Wimmer's class went to the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge on Monday. The students had fun and walked in snowshoes.

Parents are reminded to make sure their child is properly dressed for winter conditions. Children go outside for recess in the early morning before school starts and during the day. District policy states that the temperature be at minus 10 degrees to keep children indoors. If your child has a cold or sore throat and you don't want them to go outdoors, they should be kept at home until well.
