Freshman Lydia Ames was named a state finalist in the AAA Motor Club Travel Challenge. She will compete for top honors Tuesday. State winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship, a trip to Orlando and the opportunity to compete for $156,000 in scholarship money.
The swing choir will present "The Beat Goes On" at 7 p.m. March 9. Admission is $5 per person.
Edgeware Productions will present a Shakespeare Showcase for students March 11.
The Village Fair and Showin' Off the Kids are scheduled for March 13 at the school.
Parents of eighth-graders will meet at 6 p.m. March 15 to discuss the transition from the middle to high school.
