Hospice appreciates those who help organization help others

Hospice of the Central Peninsula wants to express its thanks to the many donors, volunteers and individuals who attended and supported our Winter Wine Event, Auction and Fund-raiser on Feb. 7. The event was a resounding success in raising funds vital to our ability to serve our community. Your generosity enables us to provide care to many individuals at a difficult time in their lives, without additional financial worries. Hospice extends its thanks on behalf of those whom we have and will continue to serve.

Once again, a special thanks goes to Unocal Oil and Gas, for its continued sponsorship of the event. Through Unocal's support, we are able to plan an event that is fun, as well as raises funds. We also would like to thank Beta Sigma Phi; we again have been the fortunate recipient of this group's local service project. Members donated their time to set up and decorate for the event, as well as to make beautiful, unique baskets for our auction.

Our hearts are warmed by the tremendous support this community has given to our organization and so many others. Even in uncertain times, our community continues to give and make the central peninsula a place where we truly care for others!
