Koecher, Weinert announce engagement

Farrah Renee Koecher and Adam Weinert have an-nounced their plans to marry Saturday, May 28, 2005, in Portland, Ore.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Sharon and Wayne Koecher of Cooper Landing. She is a 1995 graduate of Skyview High School in Soldotna. She attends Multnomah Bible College in Portland and studies Bible-theology and youth ministry. She is a volunteer at Trinity Fellowship, leading Bible study with teenage girls. She also is a sales associate with Zales Jewelers in Portland.

The future groom is the son of Julia Ann and Scott Weinert of Portland. He is a 2001 graduate of David Douglas High School in Portland. He attends Multnomah Bible College and is studying Bible-theology and history. He works as a head resident assistant at Multnomah and as a valet for Premiere Valet Service in Portland.

The couple met at college and the proposal took place during a sunset walk Oct. 15 at Mount Tabor Park in Portland.

Forms for engagements and weddings are available at the Clarion's Kenai office. Color or black and white pictures also may be submitted. Photos with an address written on the back will be returned. Weddings must be submitted within six months to be printed. For more information, call 283-7551.
