Community theater meeting set for today

Kenai Mayor John Williams will host a meeting of people interested in a community theater-arts center at 4 p.m. today at the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center.

Vision screening provided in Kenai

The Kenai Vision Center will provide free screening and in honor of "Save Your Vision Week" next week. Free vision screenings are offered to school-age children, and glaucoma pressure checks will be provided free to adults age 35 and older. To schedule an appointment for the screenings, call 283-7575 or visit Kenai Vision Center at 110 S. Willow, Suite 108, in Kenai.

EDD topic at Nikiski chamber luncheonP>

The North Peninsula Chamber of Commerce will hold a luncheon meeting Thursday at noon at the Lighthouse Inn. Guest speaker will be Mark Gregory with the Economic Development District. The meeting is open to the public.

Snowmachine fun run scheduled

A snow machine fun run will be held Saturday, starting at the Anchor Point Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 10221. Registration for the event starts at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $20 for those age 15 and older. For more information, call (907) 235-5582.
