ANCHORAGE (AP) -- An 18-year-old man was arrested Tuesday on charges that he fired shots near an Anchorage school, police said.
Jamar Alex has been charged with reckless endangerment and weapons misconduct. Police said they're looking for others who may also have been involved in the shooting.
At least a dozen shots were fired Monday night near Clark Middle School in the city's Mountain View neighborhood. No one was hit, police said.
Early Tuesday officers located a vehicle they think was involved in the shooting. The car had a bullet hole that went through a door and lodged in the side of the driver's seat.
A 19-year-old man in the car said he had an ongoing dispute with another man, police said, and that the man has been trying to shoot him. Police did not say whether Alex was that man.
