Central Peninsula Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects involved in the theft of aviation headsets from aircraft and buildings at the Homer Airport.
Homer police are investigating the thefts, which occurred between March 12, 2003 and Feb. 18. A number of aircraft and building have been broken into and thieves took the headsets, which are specialized equipment not used outside of an aircraft.
Anyone with information about the felony crimes is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 283-TIPS or toll free (800) 478-HALT. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information that leads to the arrest of felony suspects. Crime Stoppers does not use caller ID or recorded lines, and callers need not give their names.
