Parking raises concerns

This letter is concerning the handicap spots at Fred Meyer. Usually, every time we go to Fred Meyer, not even a quarter of the handicap spots are filled up.

My mother is going to have a baby very soon. What if, before my mama had the baby, she slipped and fell, and the baby was hurt? What if an old man or an old lady that did not have a handicap tag and couldn’t park by the building slipped and fell?

I am sure the Fred Meyer people would want everyone to be safe. I appreciate what the Fred Meyer people did for the handicapped people, but I don’t think they need so many handicap spots.
