My mom is five foot seven,
an Aztec Princess
straight from Heaven.
From a land of dark and small,
she is so beautiful and tall.
Huge black expressive eyes,
full perfect lips. Ahh!
My mom is near five foot eight.
Everything she cooks
just turns out great.
Tortillas, soup, chicken and rice,
always smelling very nice.
Channel No. 5 to be exact.
The models been broken,
that’s a fact alas . . .
My mommy is now five foot four,
an Aztec Princess at the door.
She looks so small and fragile there
with her shining silver hair.
But don’t let that fool you,
she is more! Huge black eyes, perfect lips,
did I mention her hourglass hips?
When I was a little girl her singing in Spanish
gave me thrills!
What I’d give to go back to the time
when I was so little
and she seemed five foot nine.
