Redoubt Elementary

The school will practice an evacuation Thursday. All students and staff will be at Soldotna Middle School during this practice drill.

The school will celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday with guest readers, prizes and green eggs and ham for lunch. The staff will wear "Cat in the Hat" costumes.

The door decorating contest will be judged Friday and prizes will be awarded. Friday is Hawaiian Day. Students, staff and parents can wear clothing with tropical themes.

Fun Fest is Friday. The school needs cupcakes for the cupcake walk deliverable to Room 5 on Thursday and Friday.

The lot at the west end of the building is for buses only. The speed limit throughout the school lots is 5 mph. Students are allowed to exit vehicles onto the sidewalk in front of the building only. Unattended vehicles may not be left in front of the school. Parent volunteers are needed to help monitor the parking lot Thursday mornings from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m.

Students who wish to order photos should return their order form and payment to school by Friday. Proofs do not need to be returned by any students. Photos of preschoolers and other community members may be picked up at the school office.
