Wisconsin nips Indiana at the buzzer

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Alando Tucker's putback at the buzzer gave No. 23 Wisconsin a 62-60 victory over Indiana on Tuesday night.

Tucker missed a 3-pointer in the closing seconds and Mike Wilkinson grabbed the rebound but was too far underneath the basket for his follow shot to come close. No matter, Tucker swooped in, grabbed the rebound and put it back up in one motion before being swarmed by his teammates as the ball fell through the net as the backboard's red light went on.

Wilkinson scored 19 points in the first half as the Badgers avenged a loss to the Hoosiers on Jan. 8. A road win would have been a boost to Indiana's now slim chances for an at-large berth to the NCAA tournament.
