Students celebrated 100 years of Dr. Seuss with a day of Seuss learning activities and a schoolwide birthday party. The administration would like thank the staff and Title 1 teacher Katrina Cannava for the many activities.

March is Music in Our Schools month and the music teacher, Ms. Southwick, invites all parents to join their student for music class Monday through March 12.

The PTA will meet Thursday at 3:45 p.m. in the library. All parents and teachers are invited to attend.

Mrs. Baktuit's class has been studying magnets and doing experiments to see what kind of metals can be attached to magnets. The students learned that if iron fortified cereal is stirred with a magnet, tiny pieces of iron stick to the magnet. These pieces can be seen by wiping off the magnet onto a white napkin.

The kindergarten music program will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday. "Rhyme in Time" celebrates the love of reading and how music can help foster skills essential for reading success. Everyone is invited.
