Prayer workshop slated

Nikiski Aglow and Nikiski New Hope Christian Fellowship will host a gathering of God’s gap people at 7 p.m. today at the church. Joanne Meckstroth will be the featured speaker. Addictions group meets

Reformers Unanimous, a Christ-centered addictions program, meets at 7 p.m. Fridays at the Immanuel Baptist Church. For more information, call 283-9361.

Clothes available

Clothes Quarters is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays. It is in the back of the parking lot of Our Lady of the Angels Church, 225 S. Spruce St. in Kenai.

Baha’i classes continue

Spiritual education classes for children ages 5 to 7 is held weekly at 10 a.m. Saturdays.

Kenai Aglow meeting slated

Kenai Aglow will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at The Salvation Army Chapel, 201 N. Forest Drive in Kenai.

Soldotna aglow to meet

Soldotna Day Aglow meets from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays at Peninsula Christian Center, behind The Salvation Army. A Beth Moore Bible study is in progress.

The topic is seeking the heart of God through the study of David.

Nikiski Aglow is offering the Beth Moore Bible Study program centered on the Word of God on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. at the North Star Methodist Church in Nikiski.

Group studies book of Joshua

“Precepts,” a women’s Bible study on the book of Joshua, is being offered at 10 a.m. Thursday by the First Baptist Church of Kenai. Child care will be provided. For more information, call 283-7772 or 283-7672.

Band concert set to play

The Moody symphonic band will give a free concert at 7 p.m. March 14 at the Renee C. Henderson Auditorium. David Gauger ll will conduct.

The band is comprised by students from the Moody Bible Institute undergraduate program. The band will play band and orchestral music and hymn and gospel arrangements.

Gauger holds a bachelor of music from Wheaton College and a master of music from Northwestern University.
